Today marks the 24th straight day that we have had measurable rain in the Seattle area. While that may or may not seem like much to you, here are some thoughts to ponder: our longest stretch on record dates back to 1953 with 33 consecutive days, but the worldwide record belongs to Ketchikan, AK, with 101 days. While I have no fear that we will see the sun in the next 77 days, I think we may be in very real danger of breaking our our record as the forecast looks the same as it has for the past 24 days. Here are some statistics:
