I really enjoyed this article very fascinating and something I can relate to in terms of my own political persuasions. I have always had an issue saying that I am a Christian and then people assuming I am of a certain political persuasion. It is nice to see that I am not the only one that deals with that. Our pastor made an interesting statement earlier this week by saying that he is pro-life (anti-abortion, anti-war, and anti-death penalty) and I absolutely believe the same way. I just don't see the Jesus I know supporting war (particularly under the guise that the US is using) or the death penalty. The Jesus that I see is very peaceful and more about changing people through relational ministry. It really puts a "pro-lifer" like me in a difficult spot. Just something to ponder....
