Malibu!!

Well, we are now back from a wonderful week at Malibu. A total of 16 kids went - 9 girls and 7 boys, along with myself, Jesse, and our area director Mark. We had a great time. 5 of the girls accepted Jesus and a lot of the boys opened up their hearts to Him. For the first 4 days, the weather was lousy, but the last 3 days were great and we enjoyed the sunshine. We enjoyed fun things like the obstacle course on the first night, which was followed by jumping the the glacier/ocean water in the inlet. We also had fun on the carribe (like a banana shaped boat that was towed), a water day, the blob, the zip line, and a ropes course. Actually a blubbered all the way through the ropes course, but it was fun anyway. It was just an incredible week and Jess and I really were challenged spiritually.

Our news is that we cancelled our Europe trip due to some money and just a change in our priorities. We are planning on taking a month off work next summer and taking a volunteer assignment at one of the Young Life camps. It is just amazing how simple the gospel is, but how complicated we make it. Anyway, enjoy some of the pictures!
