Fun in the Sun

Today was our annual church picnic/water baptism. It is cool because they have it at this Bible camp on a lake. So, we started with the service, then had water baptisms, then ate and went boat. I tried wake boarding, but still haven't gotten up - almost though. My parents towed this "taco", which is an like a tube except taco shaped. My mom was a crazy driver and did everythings she could to get us to fall off, but these things are pretty stable and we stayed on. Anyway, after this lovely adventure in boating we took Nemo to the dog beach to go swimming and play with other dogs - his group of friends that he met consisted of 2 yellow labs, a chocolate lab, 2 golden retrievers, and a little yappy herding dog. They had great fun frolicking in the ocean. He cam home and got a bath and now is zonked at my feet (much better than last night when he decided that everything was edible, including rubber). After all this sunny activity I came home to fold laundry (while Jesse ironed) and watch "The Mighty Ducks". It was here that I discover that my 30 proof sunscreen had failed me. Alas, the joys of the sunshine on a Irish woman...
